Membership

The Metamorphose Virtual Institute is an international collaboration and interaction platform for specialists and students working with metamaterials. Founded by a European Network of Excellence in 2007, the organisation helps joining forces with your colleagues, offers support and common voice for your interests in international and national organisations. The members of this learned society meet for research review and planning workshops and interact globally at the annual international congresses. Members publish research news on the VI web site and receive newsletters about research news and new funding opportunities. Student members have even more opportunities for studying and networking at the international doctoral schools organized by the EUPROMETA – European Doctoral Programmes on Metamaterials.

To get involved with the METAMORPHOSE Virtual Institute you may choose from the following two types of membership:

A. Institutional membership (900 Euro annually) or

B. Individual membership:

    Full member  - 90 Euro

    Senior           - 60 Euro

    Student         - 50 Euro

Both options will entitle you to the following benefits:

• Discount for Metamaterials Congress registration fee (100 Euro in 2013);
• Discount for EUPROMETA schools registration fee (100 euro for the Congress school in 2013);
• Free Congress Proceedings and school materials for all the years since 2007;
• Direct news publishing on the public VI website and news commenting;
• Invitation to internal workshops of the Virtual Institute (research overviews and collaboration planning);
• VI Membership certificate;
• Distinguished lecturer programme participation on invitation and partly subsidised by EUPROMETA
• Newsletter containing 

- METAMORPHOSE VI and EUPROMETA news;
- Funding opportunities;
- Automatically collected metamaterials news worldwide;
- Compilation of the news generated by the website users: New papers, conferences, workshops, jobs, comments, etc.

Further benefits for Institutional Members ("900 Euro" option):

• Discounts cover unlimited number of persons from your institution or laboratory;
• VI General Assembly voting rights (Institutional membership is by application and needs an approval by the VI General Assembly);
• Your institutional representative can be nominated and elected President or Secretary General of the Associiation;
• Filtered and explained information on EU and other funding opportunities can be delivered;
• Your institution or group promotional posters will be published at the Metamaterials Congress along with the conference posters;
• Your local educational and training events can get METAMORPHOSE VI accreditation.
