The annual International Congress on Advanced Electromagnetic Materials in Microwaves and Optics – Metamaterials – comprises a 4-day Conference and a 2-day Doctoral School.
Organized by the METAMORPHOSE VI AISBL and hosted by our partners, this Congress follows the success and continues the traditions of the series of International Conferences on Complex Media and Metamaterials (Bianisotropics) and Rome International Workshops on Metamaterials and Special Materials for Electromagnetic Applications and TLC.
The Congress provides a unique forum to share the latest results of the metamaterials research at the international level and bring together the engineering, physics, and material science communities working in the field of artificial electromagnetic materials and their applications from acustic to optical frequencies.
The Doctoral School following the Conference represents a unique opportunity for students and young researchers to get exposure to the latest advancements in the field of metamaterials and meet the leading experts in this rapidly developing field. For further information about our schools please visit the EUPROMETA programme website.
More information about this year Congress can be found here.
A partnership between the journal EPJ Applied Metamaterials (AM) and the Metamaterials Congress has been established. The Editor in Chief of EPJ-AM – Prof. Yang Hao – and the Congress General Chairs - Profs. Filiberto Bilotti and Andrea Alù – have agreed to estabilish every year a Special Issue of the Congress published on EPJ AM.
